Grading: There will be a possible 580 points in the course. Your grade will be based upon your cumulative score of the
first 3 exams and the final exam score; plus 12 Quizzes worth 10 points each and 12 weekly assignments worth 10pts each, totaling
240pts.
580 - 534 = A 3 Exams 240 Points
533 - 368 = B Final Exam 100 Points
487 – 442 = C 12 Quizzes 120 Points
441 – 396 = D 12 Weekly 120 Points
395 AARRGGHH! TOTAL 580 Points
Exams&Quizzes: There will be 3 exams and a final that will cover lectures, classroom exercises, movies, tapes, the
book, etc. The exams will be worth 80 points. (You will not receive any credit for an exam without completing the written
section.) The final will be comprehensive and worth 100 points. The exams will consist of 50 point’s worth of multiple
choice questions and a written portion worth 30 points. The written potion will be taken home and due the day of the test.
The written portion must be typed. There will be 13 Quizzes, the lowest score will be dropped, thus no make up quizzes. The
material on the quizzes will appear on the Exams.
